One key concept of natural law is, do no harm. When you cause harm, you’re in the wrong and the spiritual consequences are yours only. You are personally responsible for your actions, even when you’re following orders.
This knowledge is imperative because if everyone would follow this rule, a lot of suffering would disappear over night. If you work for a company that causes harm, you are complicit. So if all people would follow this universal law, evil companies wouldn’t have employees, people wouldn’t buy their products. They would seize to exist.
